Who I am
Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised for 16 years in Puerto Rico, I grew up in a household where my father’s classical guitar playing filled the air. He gave me my first music theory lessons at a very young age, and I would sit and listen as he played the beautiful pieces in his repertoire. Growing up going to church, I was further immersed in music, and it was in church that I first learned to play the guitar. That experience not only nurtured my skills but also deepened my belief in the power of music to bring people together and inspire connection. By the time I picked up the guitar at 15, I was already in love with music, and it quickly became a central part of my life.
Now, with 25 years of experience as a guitarist and over two decades of recording, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with renowned artists and to perform live—one of the things I enjoy most. For me, the guitar is more than just an instrument; it’s my way of expressing emotions and ideas that are sometimes difficult to put into words. Whether I’m teaching guitar, recording, or playing live, I aim to share that deep connection to music with others. I also enjoy being part of the music community on Twitch, where I spend time in various streams, connecting with other musicians and creators.
In addition to music, I have a passion for digital content creation, which I’ve been doing since 2006. I'm also a part-time photographer, finding another creative outlet behind the lens. Currently, I live in Massachusetts with my beautiful wife, and while music remains my primary focus, photography allows me to capture the world in a different light. Through guitar, music, digital content, and photography, I strive to express myself creatively and connect with others. Whether I'm teaching, recording, playing live, or taking photos, my goal is to create something meaningful that brings people together.
